TomTom POI's

Hi,

I have spent 5 months driving around Europe using TomTom (26 countries) and could not work out why TomTom had the default POI's that it did.

Does anyone know how the POI's that it has are chosen by them?

You don't say what model you have or what map you have.

There are literally 10's of millions of commercial poi points in the countries around the world. No brand or model has them all. SomeTT models may have 5 or 6 million poi's, some models (and maps) may have less than 2 million.

So, it's really 'pot luck' as to whether you find the poi you are looking for. There are many sites on the net that make free pois available.
