For some reason whenever I have a route to follow along the local interstate, it will tell me to take an exit, only to get right back onto the interstate?..
Is there some way I can change this?

This happens sometimes when IQ routing thinks the faster speeds are obtained by exiting and re-entering the highway. May also be a case of a mapshare error reporting a faulty speed limit on the highway in that section. Frustrating but remember that no GPS is ever as good as local knowledge.

I used to see that in some earlier map versions. seems to happen on a long sweeping turn where up and over the exit ramp back to the interstate is actually shorter. you haven't set the unit for shortest route by any chance?
