tomtom one iq routes freezes

hi my tomtom iq routes freezes on start up screen where you need to confirm clock then it stops and its restarts and it is doing this all time after updating it. before this update tomtom was working very good it is only 1 year old and used about 10 times.
can someone help me.

Welcome to TTF.

Some suggestions:
1. Remove any mapshares you have on the map (Use Home's Tools menu-->Mapshare) to do that.

2. If that doesn't work, try resetting the unit. I think for your model, that means holding the power button about 10 seconds.

3. If you got to here, make an Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents. If not sure how, see here:

Then format the unit. Don't use quickformat. Finally, restore your backup.
