Is there a way to shut TomTom down on the iPhone ?

If I click the app away, it keeps running in the background, even with voice.

There doesn't seem to be a 'Stop' button in the app.

Clear the current route if one is running very important
Turn it of like before by the home button
When back on the home screen press the home button twice
This will open a view on the bottom with all running applications
Hold down on the TomTom icon
It will start to wiggle and there will be minus sign in the upper left corner on the icon
Touch the minus sign and the icon will go away
It is not running. Repeat the touch for each application running
Push the home button to delete all minus signs and return to the home screen

BTW, a new version of TomTom for iPhone was released this morning. Forgot to mention it earlier. I've seen mention of inconsistent gps signal already today, specific to TomTom's app. Have no idea if it's an isolated complaint, but wanted you to be aware.

I went to iTunes just know (1520 hrs EST USA) nothing available yet. Did they mention anything about the traffic fix?

According to TomTom's press release early today, it's supposed to be there.

Can you imagine that!!??

Tomtom's Marketing Dept. not communicating with the Production Dept!!!

 (<----shock and awe!!)

....NOT..

Also, just to be clear, the announced 1.5 update is for North American devices only. EU and other areas to follow "soon". Still confusing why the update's not in the NA AppStore yet per the press announcement.
