Iphone apps
Unfortunately it seems to TomTom forcing users of the Iphone Go app .
Has for many years been fond of western eu app that has worked seamlessly .
Go app does not quite thought through. When I connect to charge in the car , I can NOT select the sound source , it beats the just from when the plug set in .
In the old app could be via an arrow choose if you want iphone speakers or bluetooth etc .

Are there others with the same problems? possibly . anyone with a solution.

I'm tired of having to pay for this app and use it now only with the free included kilometer.

Unfortunately, it seems to me to drop the tomtom and move to garmin or navigon

I agree, other navigation apps have the options:
1. Sound from phone
2. Sound from bluetooth (so you can play media from your phone over bluetooth and instructions will come through your car speakers)
3. Treat instructions as a bluetooth phone call (so it interrupts a car radio, for example)

I can't find anything to allow for changing setting in the TomTom Go iOS app. If you contact tech support do please post their response.

If you want an alternative that does allow changing sound setting try Sygic.

Ever tried contacting them?
Only afternoon if you live in Europe.
The sound in the app is so hit and miss that I now don't use Bluetooth. Just turn the volume up and listen to my radio, or use Waze which is as good mostly Tom Tom go mobile will not navigate to a town name unless there us an address following it. All my other tom Tom devices just take you to the town centre. This app just freezes with no action if I ask it to navigate to Birmingham for instance.
Same if its a one street village.
It even finds UK POSTCODES difficult.
The help screens don't explain why and I can see no reason for it. Have you the same problems?
Once it finds a destination its great, but sometimes you can be ten minutes setting it up.
