TomTom Home update

Hi,

I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if this isn't the right place to ask this. I have TT6, with TT Home v1.5 installed on my desktop. Last time I started TT Home I had it check for updates, and it came back with 'You have the most recent version'. However, I noticed down in the lower left corner of the screen an advert for TT Home v2.2, so downloaded the executable and tried to run it. However, it takes me into a screen that says 'modify/repair/remove', and if I select 'Modify' the only option it gives me is to add Outlook integration.

Are there any other new features between v1.5 & v2.2? Do I need to uninstall the old version of Home before I try to install the new version? If I do so will I lose all of my settings?

Welcome to the forum.

The latest HOME for a Nav is 1.5.106. If you are having troubles uninstall your present HOME and go to:

http://www.tomtom.com/plus/service.php?ID=17

Download the latest version. Take note there are different installs depending on whether you have a Mac or a Windows based puter

You should also put ur TT model into your signature. Location is always nice too.

You're correct - I apologize. The new version of TT Home (2.4) is only for the TT units other than Navigator. I went back and re-read the download page.
