Tomtom Golfer 2 new user

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Tomtom community, my dad paid for a Tomtom Golfer 2 device and was sold the device in bad faith but is unable to get a refund as it was a traveling tradeshow. I have been trying to help him set up the device without any luck online. I found this community and was hoping someone could guide me on the steps if there are any to downloading a golf map from scratch.

I found this link online but am unsure if it will work as the device is brand new and was never linked to TomTom Sports Connect. Any support would be really appreciated

Your Tomtom Golfer 2 is no longer monitored by Tomtom.
So it is no longer possible to download courses

So it's not possible to even get the device set-up through a backend download somehow?

Sorry to clarify would it be possible to download a base map that would have been available before September?
