hi guys I just got my go 600 all set up on my comp using my drive I was going to install my own speed cams but when I went to my computer tomtom is not there er..... how do I get to it lol I am using windows 7 thanks in advance

That device uses MyDrive, not Home. Get it at tomtom.com/getstarted.

But, at this time, the user can't add 3rd party poi files, which your own speed cam files are.

You won't be the only previous TomTom owner to discover a lot of missing features. Sorry about that. I'm hanging onto my old unit for the time being to see if many of the things that I need get added back to the code.

Hi im new here help needed please, can anyone tell me how to extract my current gps position please on a new 600 thanks .

Search-->Near Me-->Scroll down to Latitude Longitude-->the next screen shows a lat/long in various formats. THAT (lat/long VALUES) is your current location.

Many thanks, how stupid am I not realising the example shown was the current location.again thanks.

It is not obvious.
Right.
Initially, they had degrees/minutes/seconds on top and since I am a heavy duty Google maps user for planning trips I didn't even notice that the degrees were really the numerals before the decimal point of my location.

Nothing stupid there! You wouldn't believe how many of us didn't realize that the 'example' for format was actually our current location! Nothing like previous TomTom's in that regard...
