TomTom Car Kit

Hi,

Ive purchase a tomtom car kit and would like to be able to play everything through my car radio. However my problem is that my car has a USB socket for iPhone and no line in for a 3.5mm jack.

Does anyone know how to get the tomtom car kit plugged into a USB socket to play music etc. I tried using a miniusb plugged into the car kit and plugged usb end into car but no joy with that.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No easy way. The 3.5mm line out on the Tomtom is analogue audio, but ANY USB socket is digital data only (not even digital audio either) .

But you might find a Parrot or iO-Play system that will do what you want.

A cheap and easy way would be a radio transmitter.
