TomTom won't Detect Car Kit

Hi,

I bought the TomTom app and car kit for my iphone 4 but the iphone will not charge, get a GPS lock or find the bluetooth side of the kit.

I've added the "Iphone 4 Adapter" and reset the bluetooth settings on the cradle...i swapped it out today for another new one and I'm having the same problems. Are they really this unreliable?

Is the ciggy lighter socket working in the car? Without power it will exhibit the sort of behaviour you are describing - Mike
