TOM TOM ONE XL

Just touch the screen till you are in 3D (Drive mode) and drive. Make sure you have a gps fix and the car icon should follow the roads you are driving on.
 
If you have a previous route that was planned, you may need to use the "Cancel route" button to manually remove it. These units are a little funny about deciding whether to automatically cancel a route depending upon how close it thinks you came to the exact position of the destination.
