Tom tom 530 go volume

Hi I've got a 530 and find the volume really low, it's set at 100%, my car is quiet (volvo) Is there a fix to this? I'm using the computer voice if that helps.

Preferences-->Volume-->Make sure you have UNchecked link volume to noise level.

Who would of thought it, but if you like the volume to noise, it actually gets quiter as the noise increases! Can't understand why this hasn't been fixed!

One fix is to downgrade to app 8.302, where auto-adjust worked properly. See here for steps.
