Stuck in Night Mode

I purchased a TomTom Go Comfort, Serial number G4... (can't find G4 in the list), but it is stuck in Night mode. The only suggestion I could find was to do a Drum reset, which did not handle it. Please help.

Have you checked in settings, then map and daytime color display are checked on automatic.

Thanks for you r response.
On my model, it goes Settings - Appearance - Display - Switch to night colors when dark, which is unchecked. Theme Color is a separate option in Display, but that's just a list of colors. The only other setting under Display is Brightness. Nowhere to Select "automatic" that I can find.

Select Switch to night colours when dark to automatically switch to night colours when it gets dark.
