Hello there, just got a Start 62 say nav. When heading for a new destination, I type in the post code, then it requires me to type in the street name....which is a problem. All the addresses I’m going to do not have street names as they are farms etc. My last TomTom didn’t require a street name, it would go off the postcode alone. Am I doing something wrong? Many thanks

he Start models only have what is known as Step by Step Search as I recall. The weakness is dealing with postal codes as you've found. The Via and Go models also have a quick search which does indeed allow for putting in just the postal codes, no streets needed.

I don't have a Start 62 any more either but I seem to remember that posters in another list complained about having to add a street name after an upgrade.

Let's hope that a user from NL or the UK looks at this thread and replies. as those are the only two regions for which 'Drive to a Post Code' is available.

Afterthought, are some of your wanted Post Codes close to a B road and if yes, would you want to give that a try.
