SD Card info

If recently purchased a used ipaq that has tom tom (6 I think) installed on it. What I would like to know is that if I were to perform a 'full reset' on it would I lose the software. The sd card has the following folders; 2577, USA & Canada, Voices, Western Europe, Zip, Start, ttnavigator. If the sd was removed during reset is there enough data on the sd card to reload it back onto the ipaq.
