Every time time I log into Mydrive connect on my pc and click update the program crashes and I get a error message stating Rendering Engine Crash and the program reloads with me having to log in again only for the same thing to keep happening. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a solution. Cheers!

Nope ... I rarely use MyDrive but just started the program and it immediately went into Update mode and did it's thing. No crashes on my Windows 10 PC.
What OS are you using? May be worth removing the program and reinstalling it afresh.

My Rendering Engine crashes too (Windows 10 64-Bit) despite reinstallation. Just after the MyDrive update so I am assuming that it was not tested as much as it should be and will now have to wait for TomTom to do something about it ?.

Here is a possible solution for this bug
You need to Change in the settings
General
The grah Mode fromm OpenGL dynamic to Open GL Software

Thanks for all your responses I'm just wondering whether Tom Tom are not doing anything about it to encourage people to upgrade. I've tried the new download for sports connect but it says mine is not compatible! Anyway I'll try the suggestions and let you know. Cheers

The Sports Connect software is for watches and not for updating a GPS.
For the GPS it is the Mydrive connect software.

Thank you for this solution. I had the same problem and it fixed it.
Just to make it clear for anybody else, the setting changes are in the programme and not Windows.

Mine crash's after the new update stating rendering fault. windows 10

In case anyone is wondering, it's the setting in MyDrive Connect here:
