Renault Captur Media Nav

Hi all sorry if this is wrong place to post but tried a few other places with no avail.
Bought a Renault Captur 15 Plate with built in satnav the card in says its tom tom. Maps are really out of date but renault want to charge £100 for a years update.

Any one have and info on a cheaper or free work around with it.

No way around it, and you can thank Renault for that. Direct from TomTom for any older device would have been cheaper .. max of UK35 for UK&ROI and UK50 for all of Europe. Trouble is, maps are keyed to the serial number of the device, so you'll have to get them through whatever distribution mechanism the manufacturer has set up. You could TRY to work direct with TomTom.
