Quick fix

I read somewhere here it said form time to time you can update you TT to pick up the sattelites faster. I think it was called Quick fix. What is this and where to go to do the update. Thanks

Yeah, its called QuickGPSfix. It is easy to download, all you have to do is connect your device to HOME and it will automatically download it when it's available. This is usually once every week.

By Default this option is already on. If by chance you turned it off unwittingly, you can do a manual check by going into File--->Prefs--->Check for update.

Or if you have the data connection you can do it on the "fly" by connecting to plus services right on the unit. Takes two seconds to download and works very well.

I'm pretty sure you can only do this "on the fly" on a 510/910. No option on a ONE, unless I'm just missing it.

Not unless you connect to a cell via bluetooth...
