question about battery for xxl 540 worl d traveler edition

Hello everybody,
I'm a newbie here and a new tom tom owner. I have a quick question..
Every time i check my battery life on my new tromtom (even after it being charged all nite long).. it never shows a full charge. The battery icon on my screen, is never a full green. It's always at about 95%. Is that Normal?
How long is the battery life on a full charge?

Yes - one brick short of a load on the indicator is normal. It's a firmware issue.

As for battery life - there's a number of factors that impact that, especially backlight level. However 2-1/2 hours would be good on a healthy battery. None of these gadgets holds up like a handheld for 'portable' use.
