Purchase Advice

Planning on getting Go 730, however I am hoping to move to New Zealand in next 12 months. I have asked Tom Tom technical support if the unit would be compatible with maps and updates when I get there. Unbelievably I have been unable to get a straight answer from them, they say "It should be OK" but nothing more. Can anyone advise me please, if I buy here will it work in New Zealand. (Much cheaper in UK)

I bought a NZ map for my 720 unit last year and stored it on a 4-gig sdhc card along with my North_America map.

When it came time to switch maps, it's simply a case of 'manage maps', switch maps, and select the NZ map.

You'll be fine.
