Problem with my One

I had not logged onto Home for updates for about 4 weeks or so, so I did yesterday.
Since I have done that, my unit freezes after startup on a "please wait" screen. I reset it, and it does the same.
Good news is, I have several backups to fall back on. Bad news is, I get an error everytime I try to restore a backup. "an error occured Guam.mid"
Why am I having these problems after just downloading updates from Home.
Any suggestions?
Please!

Sounds to me like the card may be acting up. Since you have backups, why don't you reformat your SD card and trying again.

When your unit is attached to the computer, it shows up as a hard drive in Windows Explorer. Click on it with your cursor so that it's highlighted. Then press the right mouse button and select 'Format' from the list.

Make sure that your map folder is truly backed up. This is the only irreplaceable thing on the card.
