Hi! I am about to buy a Tomtom Pro 5350! I would like to ask if TMC can access traffic information via a smartphone or via a built-in SIM card? Because I don't want to subscribe to the webfleet service! So, do you have a SIM card? Where could I possibly download an exact type guide, because so far I have only found a template text on the internet!

Hi everybody! I would like to ask if it is possible to update the map via Wifi on the TomTom 5350 Pro Telematic without a Web Fleet subscription? You receive online TMC events via a built-in SIM card such as e.g. 5200 devices? So no subscription? Or is it necessary to subscribe to Web Fleet data traffic?

To receive the TMC broadcast by local radio stations, you must have a compatible cable.
However, I don't know if Tomtom has released a cable compatible with your GO 5350?

Perhaps more to the point, does the 5350 even have the firmware to support the data from a cable from a 'car' model that does fit the 5350?

I read that with the 5350 pro navigation, it is possible that a webfleet subscription is also required to update the maps, because Tomtom does not support Telematic devices! Is this really so?

Honestly, I'm not sure if that's true or not.
I have had success obtaining maps for my one Webfleet device here:

MDM - Mobile Device Manager - Webfleet Solutions

mdm.business.tomtom.com

Select your region (Europe), then select your device type (TomTom PRO 5350/7350), then - very important - select the correct of the 3 maps that matches what you already have on your device.

I don't have a Webfleet subscription, either. It just works... for me at least. That said, the maps for Webfleet are getting a little stale (old) with or without a subscription as other Webfleet users are talking about.

There is a brand new 5350 pro device on an auction portal at a good price/it was a demo item/! I'm just hesitant to buy it, because I don't know if I can use the online TMC, map update, speed camera subscription for life without a webfleet subscription!?

Greetings to everyone! If the Tomtom Pro 5350 navigation box does not have the inscription truck and the device has a Europe v1030.9618 map, then I cannot update it to a new truck map, only the one on the device/plain EU map/?

Hi everybody! I bought the Pro 5350! Unfortunately, as I thought, the truck was not written on the box and it is not possible to update the map to the Truck Europe map! EU map and software updated via SD card. It is true that it is one version older, it does not give the current new one!!! TMC is not available, I think a Webfleet subscription is required. The speed cameras appear, but I don't know how long/if they will expire at some point?! Because even if I click on the activated label in the menu, it is inactive, nothing happens. I downloaded the new map to an sd card with another device, but even though I put it in the Pro, it won't accept it. Could there be some way to put a truck or bus map on it? Webfleet subscription is very expensive, would it be worth subscribing for the extra stuff?
