Poor V2 mount performance or is it the unit?

GO510 great, then after a few months slowly detoriating my mount slips down and the unit doesn't charge.

I received a V2 windscreen mount for my TT GO, it took me a while to see that one of my serial number digits as wrong, once requested it took less than a week to arrive.

It looks and feels better - but does anybody agree with me.....

The old V1 mount often broke the connection and the battery would not charge, now with the V2 I find it very difficult to keep the connection to charge.

My TMC-RDS is far more sensative to the connection between the unit and the mount and is more or less a was of money.

COULD THIS BE AN ISSUE WITH THE GO510 ??

I'm awaiting a response from Support, I've offered to send the whole lot back!

There is definately a contact problem between your GO and your mount.
How long have you had your device?
My suggestion is to conact TT Plus and let them know about your situation.
 
I have never had a problem charging my unit. I use it in the dock everyday too.
