POI file location question

I downloaded some POI's for the UK, but did it while I had the USA map loaded. So, it put the POI files in the USA map folder. Do I need to move them into the UK map folder, or will they work just fine where they are?

If I need to have them in the UK map folder, can I just move them over there using windows explorer, or do I need to go through some special process?

Yes,, they NEED to be in the European map folder. Use Explorer.
