POI Display

Hi:
I bought Tom Tom one LE recently. I noticed that on screen, it does not show POI name. It just shows generic POI logos. Is there a way to show POI names on maps in addition to Logo? How can I get to show Phone# for POI when I click on POI on map?

Hello and welcome.
There is no method or option to do this with the main map screen.
It is inconvenient but you have to go to the browse map option. You can select the POI there and it will display the information.

Being able to click on a POI from the main navigaton screen would be a really useful feature. I dont understand why TomTom could not provide that feature.

I do see that they use the tap on the main as the only mechanism to go to the menu.. and that is maybe why they dont want to provide other features that require clikcing on the main screen.

IMO it is something that can find a way around.
