one update problem

hi while updating my tom tom one seem to have wiped info off uk sd card how can i restore this when i insert card i get a red coss over the hands please help as im new

Did you make a backup prior to the update?

I was trying to make a backup and update my tom when disaster struck cant seem to find a backup and unable to recognise tom tom thro usb cable is it possible to restore the card

If you do a reset on the unit, is it recognized then?

A shot in the dark. Go here and download the utility Panda Recovery and see if it can recover files on the card.

You may need a card reader to put the card into.
