I just purchased a 720, and when I try to get the last map (western europe), tomtom home downloads it, but when it tries to install it gives an error of "not enough free space (-93MB)". Any hints?.

Thanks.

Make sure you have made a full backup of the device using Windows Explorer BEFORE you do anything else.
To create some space on the device you will need to delete some folders from the unit, then you replace these folders from the backup once you have got the new map installed.

"voices" = 55MB
"Raster" = 17MB
"audiobooks" = 6MB
"zip" = 10MB

This is still less than the amount you need, so next take a look in LoquendoTTS/ data/ voices and you will find a couple of rather large folders, these are the text to speech files but can be temporaraly removed to make space for the new map, just remember where the folders were before you remove them as you need to replace them after the map update.

If the above sounds all too difficult consider purchasing a 4GB or even 8GB SDHC card and put the map on the memory card as well as lots of music - Mike
