New TT720 user

Hi all,

I just bought a new TomTom GO 720 a few days ago and stumbled across this forum on a search engine so here I am! This is my first GPS so I guess you can say that I'm a GPS newbie.

Looking forward to the forums, and if I can, contribute back to the community once I get my feet wet.

BTW, I've seen some references to "backing up your TT using Explorer and not TTHome". By that, I am guessing Windows Explorer and copying the entire contents of the TT device right? Also, I assume it's better to download the latest TTHome application from the TT site instead of using the CD that came in the box?

Right and right.....

Make sure hidden folders/files are showing when you do your Explorer backup.
