TT720 TMC is recognized only if it is connected when the device is on?

When I turn the power on the with the TMC module connected, it won't be recongnized. The only way to get it work it to plug it in when the device is on.

Any idea?

You're running an incompatible application for your Tomtom. While they often work, random problems can exist.

First backup per this link, then try these steps to put on a supported application. See if that helps.
