Pairing BB7290 and TT720

I have been able to pair my BB to my TT, although in the past the pairing would drop from time to time.
Now, when I try to pair, TT sees the BB, BB screen shows that it is checking the phone for features, then I get a red error screen with the message "The required functions could not be found for this phone."
Nothing has changed on the BB.
Any ideas how to fix?
Also, even though the BB has data capability, TT does not seem to recognize it.
