New to the board --- Question

I have a GO 920 that has stopped recharging the battery and will not connect to the computer. This device was a replacement for a GO 910 the went south. I have a question into support. They ask me to try a soft restart. Which will do nothing. Also even with the GO 920 on the docking station the device will shutdown after a few minutes.

Question: Has any one had this problem?
If so what do you think I can expect from TomTom's service department?
 
You do mean a pin reset, correct??

When the unit is attached to the car charger, does it stay on? If so, it may be the usb connection of the 920's stand. Try another usb port. And, try another usb cable.

If you can't maintain power by any means, there could be a bit of crud in the usb's connector on the unit, take a look.
