MyDrive App Problems

My Tomtom Go Supreme connects happily enough via Bluetooth to my Android phone and the MyDrive app shows it's connected. My Tomtom also shows the phone as connected. I then plan a route on MyDrive which it happily does. However when I ask MyDrive to send the route to Tomtom nothing happens
This is a new phone and the same thing happened on my old phone. It used to work but then stopped
Any ideas please

Is the route shown on https://plan.tomtom.com/en and are you able to send it from there, for example by disabling / re-enabling the sync?

FYI there is a 20 waypoint limit for sending
