TomTom Model(s)
GO720, Via 1515 TM
Well, my beloved Go720 reached the end of its useful life recently (it was 10+ years old, the battery couldn't hold 10secs of charge anymore, and it seemed stupid to pay $50+ for a map update when a new unit costs $119 on sale with traffic and lifetime maps).

I bought a Via1515 TM to replace it. I like it. It works great. Kind of like meeting an old friend again.

One question --- As I have to use MyDrive now, how in the heck to I see the device contents now. I read a post that indicated that the TomTom now shows up as its own network---if I understood that right.

I have searched high and low and can't find how to see device contents...

... or is this not possible with this model anymore...(??)

Also, I am on Win10, and haven't tried on my Win7 machine yet.

Assuming I DO get to see the device contents, am I still able to load custom favorites as I did on my 720?

You are right, you cannot see the file structure any longer, TomTom treats is as a Network attached device.

You can save your Favourites in POI folders (.ov2), the use the Personal Content Transfer Assistant to put them on your NAV3 generation Via 1515 TM.

eh, I was thinking that would be the answer. In any case, thank you so much for taking the time to answer this basic question.

Am just thinking. Could it be I have no room on my Ms memory card? The fav file is so small. Thank you again for your time tom tom is my favorite

Since we do not know from your post what problem you are facing, it is hard to say what, if anything, you can do to solve it.
Please explain what sort of issues you are having with your 1515.
