My new 720, HELP!

I just bought a TTGO720
but when i choose a destination
it doesnt show me a map
but instead just tells me to turn here and there
how do i set it so i see a full map?

Your post is a bit unclear but I think what you need is to set (under Preferences) the map view to be 2D, not 3D.

Its hard to explain but after plugging it into my comp it got fix'd but now it seems to only have the map for Guam.....
I even install'd the the north america 2gb and it shows it in my device when i explore it through my comp.
but i cannot switch to it.....
