lost street name search capability after update

Hi!

I recently updated my TomTom Go 720 via the Internet on my home laptop. After the update, I lost the ability to search street names, ie. the whole navigator became quite useless.
Sorry that I don't have the exact details about what was updated, but I'm curious as to whether this kind of happening is familiar to and what can remedy it? Should I return the unit to the shop, or do some kind of resetting, or can the situation be fixed via another update?

I would use a paper clip to press the reset at the bottom.

If that does not help tap the screen at the satellite indicator and tell us which version number you have. Then tap on the version and tell us which map you are using.
