Live services on Android

I currently have a tomtom go 940 and subscribe to the live services. I am thinking of buying the Android tomtom app as a back up to my 940 ( as its very temperamental) but was wondering whether my current live subscription could be used on the Android app or if i would have to take out another subscription.

Does anyone know how this would work?

No, you cannot reuse a PND live subscription on Android. You would need to repurchase a subscription. Android subscriptions can be transferred to and from any Android or iOS device once every 10 minutes, but it cannot be transferred to PNDs.
