Hello,
I have a TT GO1005 serial number ST2162G02517
I have ordered and paid for a map update, Order Number 40787481, and for an update to Live Services Europa, Order Number 407847080
My Satnav has map version 1015.9101, release date 7/2018 installed, which I assume is the latest version.
However, I cannot install Live Services Europa, because, as I found out later from the TT website, that my GO1005 is probably too old to install Live Services.
I cannot even access any Live Services version now as the SatNav just displays "One moment please", continuously. Is it true that my Satnav is now too old to install Live Services? If that is the case, what can I do now? I want to continue using the Satnav as it now has a new paid for map. But it's no use now without Live Services Europa which I have already paid for.
TT have sent me some questions to be answered, but there are some obscure abbreviations, so I can't understand what details they really want.
The Go Live 1005 has an audio out availability via its multiway connector for navigation instructions which I send to a loop amplifier to use with my hearing aids. None of the newer Satnavs have an audio out socket. They don't even have a bluetooth output with access to navigation instructions. I have tried one of TT's motorbike satnavs, which does have bluetooth navigation instruction, but it only has a small screen. If I really can't install the latest Live Services, I am going to ask for a a refund.
Some of the new Satnavs are designed for use with a Smartphone. Can I listen to the navigation instructions via the Smartphone's built-in loudspeakers or on a headset?
Many thanks, oldie 82
