Language problem

I have TomTom go for android. This year for the first time, it is announcing all road numbers in very poorly pronounced French, despite the setting being English. How do I change it back to English road numbers, to match the rest of the instruction.

I can just about manage the French, however if it did this in any other country Tom Tom would be of no use to me.

In settings then sounds and alert, have you selected an English voice?

Yes and all instructions are in English, however road numbers are in french.

Are there maps of England installed on your phone?
Have you tried removing all installed cards and then reinstalling them.

I'm afraid this is a known issue. The same happens to a Dutch voice when traveling in France or Germany.

Known problem, but Tomtom doesn't do anything to solve it, like other problems.
