Itinerary

Trying to use the itinerary function in my Go720 for the first time. I put in a route with about 15 waypoints, using either exact street names or city center names. When it calculates the route, it is very different from the route I planned as per the waypoints. Any ideas why this is occurring? Thanks.

It's not a case of IQ routing because your map does not have it.

What happens is that itineraries decide the points to visit but the unit's routing engine decides HOW to get from waypoint to waypoint.

Ususally, adding more waypoints to an itinerary (you are allowed 48) limits TT from wavering from your selected route. Try it.
