iPhone and POI's

I had a Rider 1 and loved it. I was able to save many POI's and folders to it. Last week I downloaded the TomTom app for my iPhone, but I can't figure out how to create POI's to it, just Favorites. Can you help ?

I don't know the app for the iPhone but isn't it similar in that there are steps to: Manage pois, Add poi category, etc?

I know that eons ago, you had to jailbreak an iPhone to add your own POI category and content (the app checked the file inventory on start up and didn't like to see any changes). Is that 'old history' or still true?

I think the need for jailbreaking is old history....
