TomTom Model(s)
Via 1535TM
My 4 gig micro SDHC card was almost full on my TOMTOM VIA 1535TM, so I put in a 32 gig card. After several attempts and drum rolling starts, I was able to format it. The device reeads NO MAPS FOUND. How can I get beyond that and reload maps?

Thank you. My Drive Connect is not recognizing the memory card. Do you know how to get that to work? It also no longer recognizes the old micro SD card. UPDATE: I cleaned the card contacts with rubbing alcohol and applied a little dielectric grease and it now sees the card and allowed me to format it again . Map is loaded, good to go. Thank you very much for the help!

No problems in my GO Live 1535 with an 8GB card. Using GO 620 now so no need to update maps on the older one.

Did you put the 32GB card in the PC and gave it a FULL Format as FAT 32 before putting it in the 1535 and formatting it there?

I did, but I am not sure it was necessary. The TomTom formatted it as well.

That's actually two different formats.
The original FAT32 format is necessary as a first step. Then the TomTom's "format" creates multiple partitions on the card in a Unix style ext2 or ext3, I can't recall which.
