Installing tomtom on Roadmaster FEX-12 AG

Hi,

A cousin has Roadmaster FEX-12 AG installed in his Ford but he's lost the memory card that had the maps on it. I'd like to know

1) Can I find replacement maps somewhere.. the roadmaster site isnt much help

2) Can I replace the OS on it altogether?

If this was an Android device, it would be possible. There is currently no TomTom system for Windows CE used by his device, and maps will work only with TomTom software.

This is one of the problems of buying a 'Joe's Taiwanese Garage Shop' nav system. You need support after the sale? Good luck! It's why we do not ever recommend them, and I'm not saying that because I'm a TomTom users. I refuse to buy any vehicle with a factory nav system, either (for now -- things could improve some day).
