Are you informed new maps are available?

Touch the satellite bars on the unit. The correct version installed is shown there. The latest NA Map version is 710.1609 (I'm right about the 7.10 ... not quite sure the build number is '1609'.

Anyway, if you've had your unit less than 30 days and registered on TomTom's site, ou should be offered the latest map as a download via TomTom Home's software Map Guarantee.
