First off I'm a newbie. I bought my TomTom One 2nd Ed a month ago and it came preloaded with the US_Canada map. I'm heading to Europe for a couple of weeks and thought I'd take this with me. A friend of mine gave me the Western_Europe files so I copied it over to my TomTom One and replaced the USA_Canada folder. Now I was able to activate the map using TomTom Home however when I power the unit up without connecting to my laptop, it keeps asking me to activate the map however would not accept the same activation code. Any ideas why it would do this?
