Help!

Hi all,

Im new here and I am struggling with my 1005 Live


firstly I wish I had read some of the forums b4 I purchased it as the new tomtoms have a poor rep

secondly I am so gutted I cannot download maps


ok so at fist my device was working ok apart from the above but this week it has basically started turning itself off and back on it refuses to switch on when not plugged into a power supply and its so laggy its untrue ... its acting really wierd.


please help

Have you tried resetting the unit by holding the power button about 10 seconds till you hear the drum sounds?

Yeah I have this unit is possessed

Also it wont connect to the live info

Every thing I have read regarding the new 1005 live is bad

Ive called CS they are closed

I may well consider throwing it in the bin
