Hi i'm new to the forum and need some advice.I have just bought tomtom uk &ireland for my iphone 3gs i'm thinking of buying the in-car cradle but i need to know if the bluetooth can be switched on/off or does it pair as soon as you connect the phone as my car already connects to my phone via bluetooth and i would prefer to use this option.

Don't bother pairing the TT car kit with the iPhone as it only needs this for the audio, the GPS feed and power is fed through the docking connector.

If you don't pair your iPhone to the TT car kit it will still work fine with the car bluetooth set up you have (this is the same I use the iPhone in the car, TT Car Kit for the GPS feed and Power, audio is via my existing built in Bluetooth system) - Mike
