Help!!!

I bought Tomtom XL yesterday. And when I connected it to computer it started to update old map. And here's the problem, when it is about half way on installing, it crashes. And if I turn my Tomtom on, it says that, now maps found or smth like that. Help please!

What is the error when it (I presume you mean Home) crashes?

See if the updated map got downloaded to your computer. It should be found here:
c:\documents and settings\yourname\my documents\TomTom\Home\Downloads\Complete\Maps\

and if it's there, you can install it without using Home. See here:
