help me please

bought a tom tom one v2 came with no card. when i cut it on , only showed card being placed in tom tom.. bought 4 gig sd card and put it in.. now only shows a pic of tom tom with orange background.. cant get it to do anything , bought off ebay and cant get original card.. please help if you want to email me do so at (e-mail address removed) thanks for any help

When you look at the contents of the card using Explorer, what do you see?

And where did you get the One V2 (which officially was never released).

Did you buy the unit without a sd card? If so, you may have made a mistake since I think the One Version 3 (which European retailers called V2) requires everything on a sd card, no flash memory.

im at a loss
i have two flippin gps' i cant use

Well, you can put the card in the unit but I think that model can only handle a 2-gig sd card at most. Connect to Home and you should be offered an application to download and install. But that still leaves you without a map. You'd have to buy that.
