Help Cannot clear a recent POI

I was looking for some hotel/motels in The Clemson SC area.........found one called Lake Hartwell Inn at Clemson. Routed to it.
After I finished I cleared the route and cleared recent destinations.
Then went to Navigate>>>POI and the Lake Hartwell Inn at Clemson is sitting on top of my blue arrow to go further.

I have verified Routes are clear and Recent Destinations are clear.

any help?

Not entirely clear about your navigating directions but TomTom automatically adds your most recently added poi as a separate icon on the screen.

The next time you add a new poi, it'll replace the one that was showing on the screen.

ok.......But isn't there a blue arrow to drill down further into the POI's
This one is sitting on top of that arrow now.....and I can't go further into the menu

I'm trying to get to POI categories..........am I in the wrong place?

Try a pin reset.

If that doesn't do it, try downloading and running the ClearFlash tool from here:

Thank you.......the flash fixed it. One more thing

I have two files of "recovered file fragments.chk" One is data.ck, the other is data_li.chk
data.ck is 5.30 MB and data_li.ck is 1.58 MB
Both are in the root.
Can these be deleted?

NO!

That message is misleading. Windows 'thinks' that .chk files are recovered loose bits of files. But, the software is written in linux o/s.

Delete the data.chk and hose your functionality but good...
