GO 500 Screen Transision effects.

Is there anyway to turn this off so when you touch a button the next screen pops up instantly instead of having to wait through the "fade in effect". Maybe something in a service menu somewhere?

The only time I see a fade in effect is when the device starts with a drum roll.
There the world map comes on and after a while fades away to the current location screen.
